On international woman's day, I wanted to share just a few inspirational quotes from Maya Angelou. Angelou sadly passed away nearly 10 years ago, Maya Angelou was an American poet, author, and activist. A civil-rights activist and a professor, Angelou was the author of works including “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings,” and "And still I rise'" she received awards including the National Medal of Arts and the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Her public life spanned decades and included a nomination for the Pulitzer Prize, as well as dozens of honorary degrees. A complete inspiration to all.
